With a wide variety of experience in the Consulting, Development and General Contracting industries, David Schoonjans has a wealth of expertise and practical knowledge to bring to any project.

David has worked in all sectors of real estate development with an emphasis on commercial, institutional, and high-rise residential buildings. Prior to founding AXIOM Cost Consulting Inc. David has held senior positions with some of Canada’s largest General Contractors, Development Companies and Cost Consulting Companies and has worked on many of the country’s landmark projects for more than 15 years.

  Garrett Ayers

Prior to joining AXIOM Cost Consulting Inc. Garrett worked for one of Canada’s largest Multi-Disciplinary Cost Consulting Companies for approximately 6 years. He has provided Project Cost Monitoring work on many of the country’s landmark projects in both Toronto, ON and Calgary, AB markets. 

At AXIOM he will continue to be involved primarily in Project Cost Monitoring, including specializations in site servicing & residential private home asset classes, and a secondary focus of cost planning and estimating.

  Gary Bowen 
BSc, MSc, PQS, MRICS

Gary Bowen has been providing professional services to the construction and real estate industry for more than six years. Gary’s varied experience incorporates a range of projects including mixed-use, residential, commercial, industrial, power generation, healthcare, theatre, and stadium projects.

Gary has worked with a number of leading contractors and consultants in both Canada and Ireland, and has developed his key skills on a number of flagship developments. He also has a keen interest in utilizing building information modeling processes and collaborative contracts to directly reduce construction costs for developers.

Gary is primarily involved in cost planning and estimating, with an additional focus on both project monitoring and property tax assessments.
